Paige Wheeler Though born in California, has lurked about Tucson since the tender age of four and was raised a proud Wildcat. From 3rd through 7th grade, Paige sang in the Tucson Girls Chorus. She gave up singing entirely for a few years after that, and consequently had a lot of vocal work to do when she decided to join choir again her junior year at Sabino High School. She sang as an alto in Sabino's Advanced Women's Choir and Vocal Ensemble, but is vocally confused, having been told by several teachers she is secretly a soprano. Paige performed in various musicals in high school: Annie Get Your Gun (as a broomsweeping cowgirl), Anything Goes (as a gambling Chinese man named Ching and a boat passenger), and The Wiz (as Scarecrow). She is thrilled to have the chance to weave harmonies with the musically gifted girls of Vocal Ease. |
