Strategic Goals for 2003-2006

• Develop a proactive plan to promote the national image of the College.
• Make the College's case for resource re-allocation a high priority at the University level.
• Develop and implement assessment methods that propel decision-making in academic program and curricular planning; faculty, student and staff recruitment; and financial planning.
• Incorporate College-defined indicators in the admissions process to foster the optimum size and quality of the undergraduate class.
• Promote cross-university collaborations and cultivate external partnerships with industry and alumni to advance program success and supplement instructional and research resources.
• Increase faculty participation in new technology research opportunities.
• Maximize the College of Fine Arts success in Campaign Arizona, focusing on identifying unmet needs that support students and faculty.
• Implement the College's strategic approaches to expand diversity across the curriculum and in recruitment and mentoring.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan for alumni communication and cultivation to increase alumni contributions of resources (funds, time, and talent).
