Acting & Musical Theatre

The faculty of the acting/musical theatre division oversee two degree programs:

  1. The Professional Actor Training Program
    (BFA in Theatre Production, Professional Actor Training Option)
  2. The Musical Theatre Major
    (BFA in Musical Theatre)

GOALS:

  • To develop the talents of each student.
  • To train versatile, self sufficient theatre artists.

When you graduate, you will be well prepared to begin your career as a performer.

Our graduates are well placed in the professional world, working as actors, directors, musical directors, and teachers in New York, Los Angeles, throughout the country, and internationally.

    • - musical theatre. Each season includes a minimum of 2 musicals.
    • - classical theatre. Each season includes a minimum of 1 Shakespeare play.

FACULTY

The acting/musical theatre division faculty are all working professionals who maintain careers as actors, directors, choreographers, coaches, and singers in professional theatre, film, and television. They are master teachers who provide mentoring to students in the B.F.A. acting and musical theatre programs.
