Welcome! We've created this site to help you become more familiar with the School of Music policies and procedures as you progress academically.

Music Theory Placement
All students interested in taking MUS 120A MUST attend the first two class sessions for placement.
Student Message Board
There is a small message board for your use at the opposite end of the hallway from the Green Room, near the music main office. Please place any messages for other students there and check this area for your messages. Graduate students continue to check the bulletin board outside Rm 102. Program proofs will be tacked up on this board and you will be notified by phone and email to proof as soon as possible.
Student Tickets to Music Events
Declared Music Majors and Music Minors now receive free admission to most (but not all) ticketed School of Music performances at Crowder Hall and Holsclaw Hall. Identification cards for eligible students will be available in the Student Services Office (Rm. 109) on approximately September 13. Declared Music Majors and Minors (with card and current ID) will be admitted to concerts five minutes prior to start time if seats are available. Some events, like the Fall and Spring Operas, and the President's Concert are not included in this policy.
E-Mail/Computer Labs
Free access to Macintosh and Windows machines is available to students with UA ID at several locations throughout campus, including Engineering 318, Gila Residence Hall and ECE 206. Sites are open varying hours (many are open 8 am to 11 weekdays). For more information on labs and for assistance in setting up an e-mail account, check the Computing on Campus magazine, or call 621-HELP.
